Our top tips for a more ethical Christmas!
Christmas is a time for giving so why not
give back to nature this year!
We've pulled together our top tips on having a
more eco-friendly Christmas!
1 - REDUCE PLASTIC
Make your own decorations by baking delicious biscuits and gingerbread men - perfect for hanging on the tree, string some popcorn into garlands and go outside for lots of natural inspiration like cones, holly & ivy.
2 - ETHICAL PRESSIES
How about adopting a wild animal? A perfect gift for kids with organisations like Born Free and the WWF offering adoption programmes for only £3 per month, which include regular updates on your sponsored animal.
3 - SHOP LOCALLY
Make use of your local Christmas markets and stores, not only are you supporting your local businesses, reducing your carbon footprint but you can find some truly unique gift ideas!
4 - LESS WRAPPING PAPER
Get creative with reusable options - tin containers can be reused for storage, or recycle old magazines and newspapers.
5 - BUY A REAL TREE
And even better buy one with roots that you can re-pot and use again next year.
And finally...
6 - BUY NATURAL
Materials such as Bamboo and Organic Cotton are much more sustainable and therefore better for the environment. They're also super soft, making them the perfect gift for someone you love!
